I have to put forward my concerns about the electricity problem in Ta' Xbiex. One will soon realise that the hot temperature is increasing on a daily basis even if one is locked in an office, because when it does, Ta' Xbiex and areas in the vicinity end up without electricity, normally lasting at least a couple of hours.
In one week we have already experienced three power cuts lasting between two and five hours.
This means that my company is losing business and facing problems with the machinery and hardware used. This problem has been a known fact for the last couple of years but nothing has been done about it.
Are we living in the year 2008 or in the 19th century? Can someone tell us what will be done? I feel ashamed to inform my clients both locally and internationally that their work cannot be carried out because of power cuts when we are supposed to be living in a modern Malta.
