Welsh international scrum half and grand slam winner Andy Williams is in Malta to help promote rugby on the island.

This evening at 8, Williams will conduct a training session for the Malta Rugby Football Union's U-12 players at the Melita Ground in Pembroke.

Williams, who plays for Welsh top side Newport Gwent Dragons, will be assisted by the MRFU Youth Development Officer Sam Ramage and Malta players Ian Borda and David Borg.

Wales are the current grand slam European champions having won the annual Six Nations last February. Three weeks ago, Wales played a friendly against world champions South Africa, losing 43-17.

Williams, 27, had been named in the Wales squad for the friendly but pulled out at the last minute due to injury.
