Illegal employment

Two men were yesterday fined €1,200 (Lm515.02) each after they admitted to illegally employing two foreigners in Marsascala.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi heard John Bugeja, 41, of Sliema and Jesmond Mangion, 44, of Luqa plead guilty to illegally employing a Pole and Chinese national on and before Monday.

The two were arraigned separately.
