The organisers of Echofest are promising the public an opportunity to learn about the environment in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere during the festival next weekend.
"Echofest's recipe for success stems from its capacity to combine music, entertainment and other attractions with a platform for environmental awareness and a showcase of the government's environmental initiatives," they said.
A variety of companies, NGOs and government representatives shall be present to provide important information about subjects such as alternative energy, solar panels and air quality monitoring.
Apart from the presence of a host of bands and singers on the main stage, Echofest shall also offer children the chance to paint their own designs on pots and sow their own plant seeds before taking their final product home.
The festival will take place near Ta' Fra Ben, Qawra, between Friday and Sunday, from 7 p.m.
Boat rides to and from St Paul's Islands will also be organised on a first-come, first-served basis.
