An industrial dispute at the Organisation for the Integration and Welfare of Asylum Seekers, a government agency, was resolved yesterday following a meeting between the Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin and the organisation's management.

The union had warned of industrial action because of the working conditions and employment of self-employed workers with the organisation that is tasked with helping migrants.

UĦM section secretary Joe Bonello said the union had sent a letter of warning on Sunday.

A spokesman for the Home Affairs Ministry confirmed that a meeting was held yesterday morning and the industrial action had been lifted.
