House approves delegations

The House of Representatives yesterday approved the composition of the delegations to various international entities. Nationalist MP Louis Deguara heads the parliamentary delegation to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The other members are Anġlu Farrugia (MLP) and Frederick Azzopardi (PN).

Speaker Louis Galea heads the delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The members are the Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition, Michael Gonzi (PN) and George Vella (MLP). Philip Mifsud (PN) and Joe Mizzi (MLP) are substitute members.

The delegation to the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Association is led by Nationalist MP Ċensu Galea and has Jean Pierre Farrugia (PN) and Dr Vella (MLP) as members. Ninu Zammit (PN), Edwin Vassallo (PN) and Helena Dalli (MLP) are substitute members.

Jesmond Mugliett (PN) heads the delegation to the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly. Dr Deguara (PN), Dr Franco Debono (PN), Mr Mizzi (MLP) and Dr Vella (MLP) are members. Stephen Spiteri (PN) and Justyne Caruana (MLP) are substitute members.
