Melita Cable letting customers down

There I was waiting for the European soccer championships to come up on Melita Cable's Sports Channel but I was disappointed. Luckily RaiUno came to the rescue with their transmissions. Now we have the Wimbledon tennis championships on and again no sign of Federer, or Nadal or those flashing legs of the women - or should I say ladies? - after all it is Wimbledon.

When I checked with Melita's customer care the voice said they did not have permission to transmit these important sports events. Or was it the money? Go are showing it, so why not, Melita Cable? I have, of course, stopped Melita's sports channels until August when we start receiving the UK, Italian, European and Malta soccer matches.

Then we come to BBC Prime - it should be BBC Prehistoric, or BBC Repeater, showing items like Only Fools And Horses, The Vicar Of Dibley, Some Mothers Do Have 'Em and many other programmes originally shown some 20 years ago, the actors of course staying as young as they were then with only the viewers getting older by the day. Some of these programmes are not only repeated after so many years but the Dibley series ended one afternoon and started again - yes started again - the very next day.

It is about time Melita Cable realised that they will lose viewers if these matters are not remedied as soon as possible.
