Maltapost operators

Tonio Bugeja's recent contribution (Maltapost And The Poor Performer - June 21) just goes to show how some people are incapable of constructive criticism. His childish comments would be amusing were it not for his vitriolic, venomous and personal attacks on a number of hard working postal operators.

While I assume that every company, including Mr Bugeja's, has room for improvement, it is very strange that, rather than pointing out any mishaps he has experienced so that Maltapost can remedy them, it seems that his sole intention was to attack these workers' integrity with baseless accusations.

While aiming his misfiring guns at the staff in question, Mr Bugeja would have been far more credible had he stated the facts, if any, which led him to put pen to paper.

What is even more worrying, however, is his statement that the test he uses to engage employees to work for his company is something that, in his own words, even an idiot can work out.

In my dictionary, an idiot is an utterly foolish, or senseless person.

It is a pity that such people are allowed to have their say on reputable newspapers!
