Somali man assaults police
A Somali man was given a one-year jail term suspended for two years yesterday for seriously injuring a co-national and assaulting two police constables on Saturday.
Abdul Rezaq Hussein, 29, admitted to injuring Abu Baker Muhammed Ali in Marsa, assaulting and threatening two police officers, disobeying them and breaching the peace.
Police Inspectors Mario Tonna and Ramon Mercieca prosecuted.
The police said earlier in a report that the injured man was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital suffering from fractures.

If you name them and give their place of origin.............then what is keeping you from sending them back. Staying here will only makes our lives more difficult.

Why, oh why are ILLEGAL immigrants given suspended sentence and not deported straight away?
Are the authorities waiting for the violence to escalate to the Brixton and Paris level before any action is taken?
