Hibs hold NK Gorica 0-0

Hibernians ended their participation in the final edition of the Intertoto Cup on a dignified note yesterday after they held NK Gorica to a goalless draw in the second leg of their first round match.

A 3-0 defeat in the home match last weekend had all but extinguished the Paolites' hopes of progressing to the second round of UEFA's summer competition but that didn't stop Robert Gatt's men from turning in a much improved performance in Slovenia last night.
