An exhibition open until July 20, organised by the Polish Embassy and St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, is being held at the Atrium, St James Cavalier, Valletta, on the occasion of European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008 - A Commonwealth of Diverse Cultures - Poland's Heritage. The exhibition will consist of 10 short documentaries on Poland's cultural heritage.

The Richmond Foundation is holding its next self-help group meeting (in Maltese) at No.16, Antonio Agius Street, Floriana, on Wednesday, at 5.30 p.m. Every month self-help group meetings are held for people who are experiencing mental health difficulties. The Teresian Spirituality Centre is organsing a conference on 'Female figures in the Gospel' (part 2) by Fr Martin Micallef, OFM Cap, at the Madonna Tal-Karmnu hall, Valley Road, Birkirkara, on Wednesday at 7 p.m., and another conference on 'The mystery of suffering in the teachings of San Ġorġ Preca' by Natalino Camilleri at the Xagħra parish church, Gozo, on July 18 at 6 p.m.

A half-day adoration is being held at the Archbishop's Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat, on Thursday to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life, starting with Mass at 9.30 a.m. and concluding with a Sacramental blessing at 12.30 p.m. Individuals and groups are welcome to attend.

A Mass will be celebrated at the Iklin parish church on Saturday at 6 p.m. to mark the 66th anniversary of the episcopal ordination of Bishop Emanuel Galea. The Mass is being organised by the vice-postulator of the cause for Mgr Galea's beatification and will include prayers for new vocations, through his intercession.
The Saint Mary's band club is organising a two-day festival at Għaxaq Square on August 6 and August 7 at 9 p.m. which will include a tribute performance by Tracy Shields.
