Golden Wedding

The marriage took place on June 29, 1958 at Tarxien parish church. Mass was celebrated by the late Fr Massimiliano Mizzi. GEORGE and MARY embraced the sacrament of matrimony on June 29, 1958 at St Ignatius chapel, Sliema. Sacro Cuor parish priest Fr Francis Dingli officiated the ceremony. The families of George and Mary wish them many more years of happy married life.

Albert and Phyllis were married on Sunday, June 29, 1958 at Our Lady of Sorrows parish church, St Paul's Bay. A reception followed at the ballroom of the Hotel Phoenicia.

A thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated today at St Paul's Shipwreck chapel, San Pawl tat-Tarġa. BONAVIA. On June 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED, aged 62, of Valletta, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Ineż, his children Clive and his wife Caroline, and Mark and his girlfriend Thea, his grandchildren Nathan and Sara Ann, his brother Charlie and his wife Marlene, his sisters Lina and her husband Corrado, and Anna, his brother-in-law Xandru and his wife Marina, his uncle Ġużi, other relatives and friends - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for St Augustine's parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed my interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss Anna and her husband Joseph Cassar and their children Ian and Neil and fiancées, Nicholas and Nadia, Melania Grech, the Żebbuġ parish priest, the clergy, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves the Convent of the Franciscan Sisters in Żebbuġ tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. for Żebbuġ parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment at the Sacred Heart cemetery, Żebbuġ. GILLENEY (DEVITT). On June 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, SHEILA, aged 87, passed peacefully away. She leaves to mourn her loss her loving friend of many years Jill Delicata, her devoted friends and companions Jo Melville and her husband Jason and son Bradley, Rom Borg, Chris Mifsud, Ernie Vella, Bruce Hines, her loving friends from abroad Lynda and John Pace, Paul and Catherine Graham, Trish Howard and her husband Trevor, including numerous others within the dog world. May she be granted eternal peace. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3 p.m. for a service at Burmarrad cemetery, followed by interment at 3.30 p.m. No flowers by request but donations to Freddie Fenech's Abandoned Animals Association (AAA) will be appreciated. IMBROLL. On June 26, at her redidence, FREDA, aged 59, of Sliema, residing at San Ġwann, née Caruana Smith passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreplaceable loss her husband Anthony, her children Manuel, Andrei and his wife Daria, Marilena and her fiancé Maarten, and Fabio and his wife Maria, her siblings Tony, Rose and her husband Noel, Joe and Ramon and his wife Marika, her parents-in-law Henry and Carmela, her in-laws Mario, Catherine and her husband Henry, Anna and her husband Paul, Louise and her husband Michael, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for San Ġwann parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. VELLA. On June 28, at Karen Grech Hospital, PAUL, of Mellieħa, widower of Mary née Baldacchino, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church, close to his 96th birthday. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Mary, John, Charlie, Tony, Joe and Paul, and their wives, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother John Mary and his sister Marianne, nephews, nieces and friends. - R.I.P.
