16 drug arrests during party

The police are holding 16 persons after drugs were found in their possession during a party near Rabat last night.

The drugs included ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis resin.

The 10 men and six women were arrested after surveillance and searches by the Drug Squad. Their age is between 17 and 30. One of them is Scottish.

Some of them will face drug trafficking charges in court in the coming days, the police said.
