Are you about to choose a mobile phone service operator? Or about to sign a contract with a fixed phone line provider?

Before signing a service contract always read the terms and conditions - especially the small print! These state what your rights and obligations are. If there is anything you do not understand ask the trader to explain before signing.

What are my rights in the telecoms sector?
The liberalisation of the telecoms market gives you the right to choose an operator, both for fixed and mobile phone services. Compare operators and find out who provides the best deal in terms of tariffs, quality of service, coverage and contractual conditions.
