More choice in latest Tigné Point offer
The last of the Tigné south residential phase is being released this week when a new block, known as T10, comes to the market.
These new residences, a varied mix of apartments and penthouses on the easternmost tip of the peninsula have been designed by AOM Partnership with interiors by Pippa Toledo.
The block incorporates an all-new enhanced specification, including a centralised heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC) system as standard, a built-in infrastructure for optional telephony and internet connectivity, as well as the provision for Bose sound and Lutron lighting options.
T10 has a number of duplex and triplex penthouses with open-plan layouts, double height ceilings and private pools flanked by terraces designed for entertaining. Views include Valletta and the Grand Harbour entrance, the open sea and the newly restored Fort Tignè with its surrounding green areas.
HVAC centralised climate control is offered as standard and is a cost-effective, reliable, efficient and environmentally friendly technology designed and supplied by Solutions and Infrastructure Services (SIS) Ltd, a joint venture between Midi plc and Siemens Italia SpA.
The system allows for simultaneous heating and cooling in each apartment. From consumption to maintenance, the system also offers a significant cost-saving both in terms of capital outlay and running costs. Hot and cold water for heating and cooling purposes will be produced at a central location and distributed site-wide to residential, retail and commercial customers, who will be living and working at Tigné Point. This contributes to reducing the carbon footprint of each building.
Designer Pippa Toledo has created interiors choosing different concept schemes for the finishes. For each apartment there is a selection of themes, combined with a variety of colour schemes and top quality materials.
Toledo explains her inspiration: "I opted for a feeling of space, light and a natural colour scheme. Considering the beautiful, yet central surroundings of Tigné Point, I was attracted to hues found in nature that bring the feeling of outdoors in."
An innovative wiring infrastructure allows for immediate or future upgrade options in cutting-edge communication technology, sound and lighting.
To accommodate the trend of surround sound in living rooms and music throughout the home, T10 apartments are pre-wired for a range of surround and multi-room music systems, as well as flush-mounted ceiling speakers.
These apartments are also pre-wired for various intelligent lighting control solutions, facilitating an easy upgrade from standard switches. Single or multiple rooms can be upgraded, either immediately or as needs change. Residents can even add electric shades and curtain tracks, controllable from the same keypads, available in a range of finishes.
The T10 block is located moments away from the convenience that the 30 acre Tigné Point development will offer, including a shopping centre called The Point, eateries in and around Pjazza Tigné, a 2,500 square metre open public square lined with trees and cafes, the residents' pool, club house, concierge, premium health and sports facilities, the peninsula walkway, and the attractions of the newly restored fort.
