The Youth FA season ended on a top note for Pembroke Athleta's U-16 team, beating Attard 2-0 in a championship decider.
Both won promotion to Section 'B' after winning all matches in league championship and drawing the direct clashes, forcing a decider to declare the group winner.
The Pembroke lads scored 82 goals last season and conceded 18.
Focus now shifts on the Summer Football Fun School at Pembroke to be held in July and August. Registration forms for boys and girls may be collected from the Pembroke Athleta Sport Club daily after 6.30 p.m. (tel. 9922-1742).
All work-outs during the summer school will be held on the club's artificial turf pitches while training sessions in the coming season will be staged on the full-sized pitch that is currently being upgraded with artificial turf.
The project will be completed by mid-July.
