Property passed on to councils
The Żejtun local council has been given ownership of 18, San Girgor Street to be restored and developed as a crafts and arts centre, the government said.
The council regularly organised courses of traditional crafts and encouraged residents to take part in the arts. The property would be used to exhibit the work of residents.
A property in Main Street, Sta Venera where the local council had built a new public toilet, was passed on to that council.
