Man held over theft from games room
The police are holding a man who allegedly entered a games room in a Mellieħa hotel and stole an undisclosed amount of cash yesterday afternoon, the police said. A hotel employee attempted to restrain the man who, however, gave him the slip and rushed off in a vehicle.
The man was apprehended in Birżebbuġa where he and the vehicle inside which tools were found, were located, the police added.
