Inexact change on buses

With the introduction of the euro, certain bus drivers have got into the habit of not giving the small change due to commuters.

The best solution is to prepare beforehand the exact fare.

Definitely! Because whilst they may not see the need to give back the 3 cents (from a 50 cent coin) woe betide you should you give them 3 cents less!

True, it's happened to me numerous times. Seems like the bus service can't possibly get worse.
