Public service employees
The public service employed 29,260 as at last April 1,10 employees less than the number that at the beginning of the year, the Prime Minister said yesterday.
Replying to a parliamentary question by Labour MP Silvio Parnis, Dr Gonzi said that 28,892 were employed on a full-time basis and 368 part-time.
