Granaries packed for Isle of MTV concert
One Republic take the stage at the Floriana Granaries. Picture Darrin Zammit Lupi
The Floriana Granaries are packed this evening for the second Isle of MTV Malta Special. Hundreds of young people converged on the square hours before the mega concert started. Eccentric singer and song-writer Lady GaGa opened the show and was followed by the catchy tunes of OneRepublic (picture).
Enrique Iglesias is next in his second show in Malta, followed by The Kooks, funk-rock band N*E*R*D. The show is expected to be transmitted by MTV in the autumn, reaching a potential audience of over 130 million.

What's wrong with someone talking in his own language?
Lady Gaga was born in an Italian New York family. What's wrong in speaking in your own language. You got it all wrong, she never intended to say that we're Italians. This is the same as someone sings a song in his language..
Being a fact her songs are not quite common on our radio stations (except; Just Dance) she did not go very well with the crowd (sing-along).. but that does not mean she did not givea wonderful performance. Personally I found it quite enjoyable, that counts for the dancers and the dj behind ;)
Ater all she said something that we should all be grateful off
TI AMO MALTA ;)

Can anyone tell me why Lady Gaga spoke in Italian, I found it rather rude of her to not even know we have our own language. She gave an awful performances and messed up her chances even more by mistaking us for italians. Big, big no no in my books.
