Budget 2009 website launched

The pre-budget document will be published in the coming days as the government continues its consultation process ahead of the Budget 2009, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said today.

He said that following last year’s successful experiment, his ministry had also launched the Budget 2009 website, where viewers can also submit suggestions for the budget.

The website, www.budget2009.com.mt features budget-related documents a forum and other information.

Suggestions can also be sent on SMS number 7979 2009.

The minister thanked the people and constituted bodies who had participated in the five consultation meetings held. The suggestions made can also be seen on the website.
