Uncalled for remark

I thought it was extremely uncalled for, for Joe Saliba to imply that Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando should resign, because that was what he would have done, knowing full well the Opposition will use it against Dr Pullicino Orlando in their continuous mud-slinging mentality.

Dr Pullicino Orlando was maligned by the opposition, like so many other Nationalist MPs before him, for election purposes, a fact that even a child will realise, knowing that mud-slinging was the Labour Party's idea of an electoral campaign. He has since explained over and over again, his side and the fact that he was not directly involved in the Mistra negotiations with written proof.

Besides, if all Nationalist MPs who have been asked to resign by the opposition were to do so, we would have a very limited Cabinet or, at best, a reshuffle every couple of months.
