The Malta national women's team will be taking part in a Euro mini-tournament, to be held in Estonia between Friday and Wednesday, July 2. Besides Malta, the other participating nations are Estonia, Croatia and Turkey.

Malta's first match will be on Friday afternoon against Croatia in Paide. They are then due to meet host nation Estonia on Sunday. The third and final match will be on Wednesday against Turkey.

The head of the Maltese delegation is Ludovico Micallef, vice-president of the MFA and also chairman of the Women's Football Committee. The other staff accompanying the team are Tanya Gravina, secretary, Dr Shirley Mulvaney, team doctor, and Elaine Vella, physiotherapist.

National team coach Pierre Brincat, and his assistant Mark Gatt, have called the following 18 players to form part of the travelling squad that departed for Tallinn yesterday:

Goalkeepers: S. Costantino (Melita), M. Zahra (Birkirkara).

Defenders: R. D'Agostino (Hibs), M. Debono (Hibs), M. Deguara (Mosta), L.A. Galea (Hibs), N. Pace (Hibs).

Midfielders: M. Azzopardi (Hibs), C. Camilleri (Birkirkara), R. Cuschieri (Birkirkara), S. Farrugia (Birkirkara), R. Gatt (Hibs), K. Lia (Birkirkara), K. Saliba (Hibs), D. Theuma (Hibs), D.Tonna (Hibs).

Forwards: Y. Carabott (Hibs), R. Chircop (Hibs).
