David Spiteri Gingell has resigned from chief executive officer of Enemalta due to personal reasons, the corporation said yesterday.

Alexander Tranter, chairman of the corporation, said Mr Spiteri Gingell has successfully contributed towards a number of important initiatives during his term, namely the conclusion and signing of the collective agreements with the General Workers' Union (GWU) and the Enemalta Professional Officers Union (EPOU) as well as preparing a restructuring plan to transform the corporation into a more flexible and efficient organisation.
