Local councils are supposed to be there, among other things, to defend the local cultural and natural heritage.

A set of very unusual trees have the misfortune of being placed in Vittoriosa just below the Fortini football ground (which obviously came later and encroached on it). Some three years ago one of these trees was chopped off.

It seems there is a start to the chopping of yet another of these unusual trees.
