With just ten days to go until the first ever Malta International Digital Arts Expo 2008, one exciting last-minute addition, Wacom, has been made to the list of events.
Over the past 20 years Wacom has been committed to make the computing environment more natural and intuitive, unleashing creative potential. The result is a world-leading range of graphics tablets, which will be on show on ICA's stand.
The company's resident expert, Lorenzo Colloreta, a lecturer at the University of Florence and an Adobe expert, will demonstrate how to get the best out of the tablets.
The Expo, to be held at the Hilton Conference Centre, between July 3 and 6, is a multi-faceted event, which includes a business-to-business exhibition, creative, technology and business seminars, MAC lab workshops, a Gallery Zone, and the Kinemastik Short Film Cinema Room. Visitors will be able to attend any of the 43 seminars or workshops for free.
The exhibitors' list reads like a who's who of the best in the industry.
Traditional print has also beneftted from digital technology, and MetalFX will be demonstrating their innovative metallic printing processes. Vodafone will be representing the mobile world, and leading audio-visual suite Cinema4D will be on show in Malta for the first time ever.
The Malta International Digital Arts Expo 2008 is organised by ICA Ltd with the Ministry for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications. To register for a free entry ticket visit www.digitalartsexpo.com. The expo will be open daily from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
