Two accused of hold-up, Somali accused of rape
Keith Cremona, 20 of Valletta and Marlon Zarb, 19, of Gzira, were arraigned in court today and accused of having committed an armed hold-up at a lotto office in Annunciation Street, Sliema, on November 21 last year.
Keith Cremona was also accused of having given false testimony at police headquarters later on the same day and having broken the conditions of a previous sentence.
The two pleaded not guilty and were remanded in custody.
Inspector Joseph Mercieca prosecuted.
In another case, a Somali, Abdirahman Farah Shuriye was accused of raping a Maltese man in Mosta last night.
He was also accused of stealing a mobile phone.
The Somali pleaded not guilty and was also remanded in custody.
Inspectors Joseph Agius and Melvin Camilleri prosecuted.

When the aggressor comes from a country where 'Romantic marriages (are still) becoming more common' and a county which is one of the leading practitioners of female genital mutilation (FGM) also known as female genital cutting (FGC), asking the questions which you suggest is irrelevant, whether the victim is male or female.

What was the man wearing? Was he half-naked, and half-drunk?
I bet if it were a woman who was raped, these questions would be asked, but since the victim is a man, no one asks them.
Wonder why...
