Bize Lizu gets the audience dancing

Bize Lizu's vibrant cabaret shows took a bow at the Grand Hotel Excelsior on Wednesday night to a starry backdrop, a fireworks display and a grooving Versatile Brass Band that got the audience in the mood to try some dance moves too.

Long legs, plumes and illuminated costumes dominated the stage as the St Petersburg dance company tossed and twirled their agile bodies in a mélange of modern dance and cabaret.

But the Cirque du Soleil acrobat stole the show when he engaged in gravity-defying contortions and a superhuman display of strength and control that held the audience in awe.
