Two accused of series of thefts

Two men, Charlot Cutajar, 45 and Leandross Cutajar, 23, both of Cospicua, pleaded not guilty but were remanded in custody today after being accused of thefts from five cars and handling stolen property. Leondross Cutajar was also accused of breaching bail conditions.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi in considering a plea for bail noted that Charlot had 13 previous theft convictions, nine convictions for drugs and four for fights.
