Nationalist MP Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando has filed libel proceedings against MaltaToday over an article published last Sunday.

Dr Pullicino Orlando said that while he respected every journalist's right to comment on facts within the limits of the law, he had filed this case because despite evidence to the contrary, acts had still been attributed to him in a slanderous manner.
