Night belonged to Ira Losco

A huge congratulations goes out to our lovely talented Ira Losco for her phenomenal concert last Saturday at the Sky Club, with the launch of her new CD Fortune Teller.

As always Ira was amazing to watch and hear, giving us all a pumped up concert that was fantastic, with over one and a half hours of live non-stop singing with all the band. She sang her heart out and was dancing throughout to entertain us. Ira's new album will definitely be a success.

I'm certain that Fortune Teller, as a single, will be in the top five when it is released, and I hope it will take the number one spot in the charts.

Ira you were amazing, thank you for taking the time to sign your album and to take photos. To me you are phenomenal and I love and respect you always.

@ M. Claridge

I'm also an Ira Losco fan, but i'm disappointed because there are many ways how Ira can promote her music online (and free), and unfortunately her management are unaware of these.... just to mention her official website which is rarely updated (as i said before). Ok, its cool that she's building her fan base at the uk...but hey....4 singles from "Fortune Teller" were already released....has any one of them entered at least #100 in the UK Singles Chart?? Everyone is talking about a growing fanbase...but the real success story never arrives.

As regards to the "attitude" adopted by Ira's fans.... what I meant is that most of her fans, instead of helping her to promote her music, they keep praising her like "she's the rock princess" etc etc (which is not wrong)...but they stop there. Anyone ever commented and suggested Ira Losco to (for example) have her site updated? (which is vital for a music artist who wants to hit foreign markets). No....but instead....if someone puts forward some suggestions (like I did), many find this as trying to "hinder" her profession. Ira will never top international charts if she doesnt promote her music online!

The attitude adopted by Ira Losco's fans ?? Are you guys serious. I'm based in Uk and i assure you Ira Losco is building up a fan base here and its getting bigger and bigger. I 've come to Malta last year and saw Ira Losco and her band perform at the Isle of Mtv. She's incredible and my friends and i were blown away. Her fans were incredible too. I haven't seen that interaction in a long time. She rocks and so do her fans. I'm now a die hard fan and you guys are frustrated dudes who don't have a life or never go out . There's nothing wrong at all in what Ira Losco has done so far. If you see what she's achieved from a small island like Malta . All those achievements in such a small span of time. Are you serious? I suggest you come to UK to really understand how hard it really is and most bands will never get the opportunity to perform with some of the artists Ira Losco has performed with .I also managed to buy the new album . Simply amazing!

I completely agree with Mr. Camilleri !
I'm so disappointed with the attitude adopted by most of Ira Losco's fans! Myself being one of her fans, I'm not happy with Ira's success. What I mean is that i would be happy if I see her new single topping international charts. It is a difficult task to do so, but i believe in the powers of the internet! Internet promotion can be as effective as MTV. Unfortunately, Ira lacks online promotion. Just take a look at her "never-updated" website and "colourless" myspace, for example, and one can clearly see the lack of importance that is given on internet promotion by her managment!

The Local Top 5? How much songs does one need to sell for that to happen?? a 100?
Its breaking the international, or at least European market that proves one's success, and not the local market!
