Lawrence Zammit has been confirmed as chairman of Air Malta, a position he has occupied since 2003.

The Finance Ministry said that during these years Air Malta focused on its core business, reduced its costs, invested heavily in technology and improved its revenue so that it was now on sounder foundations than in the past.

Alison Attard, Anton Attard, Paul Bonello, Henriette Busuttil, Joe Fenech Conti and Clyde Micallef were appointed directors on the Air Malta board.
