Parliamentary secretary for Asia-Europe meeting

Parliamentary Secretary for Finance, Economy and Investment Jason Azzopardi is in South Korea to take part in the eighth meeting of Asian and European Finance Ministers, known as ASEM.

The main theme of the meeting is "Asia, Europe and the future of regional economic integration". The ultimate aim of the discussion is to establish a relationship of cooperation between the two continents.

Some 40 ministers together with heads of international corporations will be attending the meeting.

Dr Azzopardi is accompanied by the head of secretariat, Frank Psaila, and the director of the Economic Policy Division at the Ministry of Finance, Joseph Bugeja.
