Five arrested after drug finds
The police arrested five people over the past few days after finding drugs in separate operations in Bugibba and Paceville.
The police in a statement today said that a 30-year-old man was arrested on Thursday after Cannabis plants were found in his flat .
The other four arrests were made on Saturday-Sunday night in Paceville after the four were found in possession of cannabis resin.
One of the them, a Sudanese resident in Malta, was carrying a number of pieces of cannabis resin which were ready to be sold. An amount of cash was also found. More cannabis resin was found in a search of his residence.

Drugs, drugs, drugs everywhere. It is incredeible the amount of drugs we have in Malta. It feels like living in Colombia. I think the police should use sniffer dogs and go round every house in Malta. Probably we would fill a whole quarry with drugs.
