Poland and Croatia are goalless at halftime in their final group match this evening.
Croatia, already through to a quarter-final with Turkey, rested nine first-choice players but still looked the better side. Ivan Klasnic and Hrvoje Vejic both missed good chances to put the group winners ahead.
Poland, whose outside chance of progress to a quarter-final against Portugal depends on them winning by at least two goals and the Austria v Germany result going their way, looked short on quality.
Their usual first-choice striker Ebi Smolarek was on the bench and they rarely troubled stand-in Croatia keeper Vedran Runje.
