Bro Martin Borg, FSC, has been reconfirmed provincial of the Malta district of the Community of the Brothers of the Christian Schools (Freres) for the next four years.

The decision was taken during the chapter of the Malta and UK districts held at the Kintbury retreat centre, UK, at which Malta was represented by Bro. Martin, Bro. Saviour Gatt, FSC, and Bro, Emmanuel Sciberras, FSC.

In his presentation at the chapter, which was attended by 29 Brothers and Capitulants, Bro Martin spoke about the Brothers' work in Malta, the education initiatives being carried out in the three Maltese Lasallian Schools - De La Salle College, Stella Maris College and St Benild School, and the activities at the Brother's retreat centre in Mellieħa.
