Singer David Fenech recently launched his first CD, Per sempre, at Palazzo Margherita in Sannat.
Fenech has been singing since he was seven. At 21 he reached an important milestone in his singing career.
After taking part in a concert at the Manoel Theatre, where his voice caught the attention of Sir Harry Cowell, managing director of the British company Private and Confidential, last December he went to London where he recorded his first CD.
Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono, who joined Fenech's family and friends in a special occasion to mark the CD's launch, praised the singer's talent. She said that despite its size, Gozo has considerable talent and those with enough determination manage to succeed in various fields.
Fenech, who comes from Fontana, is following a B.Ed. course at the University of Malta.
