Power cut at schools

In a conscious collective effort to promote this year's Schuman's Day theme of looking after the environment and fighting global warming, St Albert the Great College, Valletta, and various other schools deliberately cut electricity supply for an hour as the national Ecoschool committee, Nature Trust president Vince Attard and EU Commission representative Joanna Drake toured the schools.

The Valletta school foyer was also set up with various displays of work by primary and secondary students about renewable energy resources.
