Lower fixed line, data roaming rates from Vodafone

Vodafone Malta has launched a promotional offer for calls made from a mobile phone to all fixed line numbers. Customers on selected post-paid and prepaid plans can now call on all fixed line numbers at affordable rates. The offer is valid until September 30.

Vodafone post-paid customers can benefit from 500 minutes to all local fixed numbers for €9.99 (Lm4.29) a month.

For €1 (Lm0.43) a week, Vodafone prepaid customers can call on all fixed lines from their Vodafone at €0.12 (Lm0.05) every five minutes during peak hours and at €0.12 (Lm0.05) for every 30 minutes during off-peak hours. To subscribe customers should send a blank SMS, free of charge, to 16240. Vodafone Corporate customers may call 2388 8228.

Under another offer, Vodafone's data roaming tariff is now available on selected networks worldwide: post-paid customers are charged €3.49 (Lm1.50) per MB for internet and WAP usage, €8.50 (Lm3.65) for Vodafone Business E-mail, and €0.23 (Lm0.10) per 150KB for outgoing and incoming MMS.

Data usage while roaming on EU networks not included in the data roaming tariff footprint will be charged at €8.50 (Lm3.65) per MB for internet, WAP and Vodafone Business E-mail sessions. MMS usage (incoming and outgoing) will be charged at €0.23 (Lm0.10) per 150KB.

Vodafone Malta is also reducing its data roaming tariffs for all prepaid subscribers to €8.50 (Lm3.65) per MB when roaming within the EU and €10 (Lm4.29) per MB for roaming outside EU.
