St Georges Road, Paceville has been a mess for almost three weeks with the rubbish continually accumulating. Despite the fact that rubbish trucks visit the area daily there is no collection.

A sign indicates that anyone caught dumping will be fined and made to clean up. But the mess has been there for such a long time that it begs the question: Who is going to catch them? I thought that there were litter wardens operating. How many wardens are there? How much do they cost the nation? How many tickets have they issued and how much revenue in fines have they collected?

This area of Paceville should prove a veritable bonanza for the wardens, that's if they can get past the smell, the cats and the rats.
