The Prime Minister has been urged the intervene to resolve longstanding issues which have brought work on the Dwejra Heritage Park practically to a standstill.
It said the pending issues included the state of the coaches / buses parking and of Dwejra Square and a lack of proper traffic management, with cars still parking on fossils.
"Despite what was agreed with the EU, the park today still has no management agreement. This has left the park without a manager and without funds to employ park rangers to safeguard the area, NatureTrust said.
"Without a site manager and a management agreement no one is controlling the activities on site."
The NGO also complained that no rehabilitation and conservation of the Inland Sea area is being carried out and no solution has been found yet to the problems relating to the present structure of the visitors'centre which, it said, was not according to the permit issed by MEPA.
