A filipino man, Edmund Rosales , 67 was remanded in custody this morning after pleading not guilty to threatening and slightly injuring his wife Theresa in separate incidents.

The incidents allegedly happened on June 8 and yesterday. In yesterday's incident Mr Rosales had threatened to kill his wife, police Inspector Kevin J. Farrugia told the court.

He was also accused of breaching the public peace.
