A minor project to place a service trench at the Vittoriosa Waterfront, right next to the marina but also where all the tourists alight and take the harbour trips by the dgħajsa, has taken close to a year to be completed and is not yet done. The trench, apparently commissioned by the Malta Maritime Authority, also presents serious risks for whoever walks in the area and has been left open for months with no protection whatsoever.
