Every Wednesday, for the next two months, Air Malta will be offering a 50 per cent discount on the lowest available fare for travel booked via its web portal to a selection of destinations between November 1 and April 3.

To check out the offers, customers should log on to www.airmalta.com on Tuesday nights to see the latest new destinations where the 50 per cent discounts are applicable for flights booked the following day. The offer excludes the period December 20 to January 3.

In a statement announcing the offer, appropriately branded 'Wonderful Web Wednesdays (WWW)', the airline also took the opportunity to take a dig at the competition:

"Air Malta offers its customers a full service, including quality in-flight entertainment, without resorting to charging ludicrously hidden charges... when booking online, checking-in their luggage and when using the traditional check-in services. It is committed to offer a value for money superior service."
