Għasri marks the feast of Christ the Saviour with a concelebrated Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech at the parish church this morning at 9, in which the Lauda Sion choir will take part. At 6.30 p.m. Canon Michael Mintoff leads a concelebrated Mass, with the participation of the Stella Maris Orchestra. A procession with the statue of Christ the Saviour, accompanied by the La Stella Band, starts at 8 p.m. An evening of music will be held on Saviour Square at 10.15 p.m.
The Department for Projects and Development within the Ministry for Gozo is providing advisory services to farmers and to those interested in horticulture. These services are offered on Monday at the Dawwar Nursery, on Wednesday at the agriculture office in Victoria, on Friday at the government farm, Xewkija and daily (excluding weekends) at the Civil Abattoir, Xewkija. Appointments or meetings with officers in charge can also be made by calling 2156-5809.
A concert will be held at the Gozo School of Music, tomorrow at 5 p.m. It will feature folk music by students of the violin, guitar, bass guitar and percussion. All are welcome.
The parish of Kerċem will organise a pilgrimage to mark the 125th anniversary of Our Lady's apparition to Carmela Grima on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The activity will start at the road junction between Għarb road and Ta' Pinu road. On arrival at Ta' Pinu Sanctuary, Mass will be celebrated. The function will be broadcast on Radju Marija.
A fundraising coffee morning will be held at the Arka Respite Centre in Għajnsielem on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Tickets from the centre or by phoning 2156-5773, 2155-5803 or 2156 0905.
Charles Bezzina will launch his tenth book, Meta Siket il-Baħar at Alley 1, Mgr G. Farrugia Street, Victoria, on June 21 at 7.15 p.m. The public is invited.

The six-week Victoria Inter-national Arts Festival will be opened with a concert by Durham University's St Mary's College Chapel Choir at St George's Basilica this evening at 8. Entrance is free but seats can be reserved by visiting frgfrendo@yahoo.co.uk.

An exhibition entitled Nature Exalted by Mario Agius is being held at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria. It will remain open until June 20. Opening hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
