The response to the Għajnsielem Blood Drive was so good that it had to be extended by several hours to accommodate all donors flowing into the club last Saturday week.

The event was part of the activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the St Joseph Band Club of Għajnsielem, held in collaboration with the Malta Red Cross (Gozo section) and the Malta National Blood Transfusion Service.

The club is already planning to turn the Għajsielem Blood Drive into an annual event.
