Italy's leading domestic electronic goods distributor Euronics has opened its first, 2,000-square metre outlet in Geocasa Millenia, Marsa, representing a €1 million investment.
Euronics evolved in 1999 from the historic Group GET, which in 1972 established itself as the leading resellers of well-known brands. The group quickly became the interface between manufacturer and consumer, assisted in the rapid growth and demand for electronic goods, and became a specialist in offering the latest products and technologies in the world of electronics.
Over the past 20 years, the group expanded its franchise operations in Europe and rebranded as Euronics International. Today, Euronics stores are all independent electrical retailers and form part of the largest electrical buying group in Europe. Euronics are a heavyweight with immense buying power and are present in 25 countries across Europe, have 8,900 specialist stores and branches, and every dealer in each country is a specialist in electrical goods, thus providing a professional understanding to satisfy customer expectations.
From HD-ready LCD TVs to DVD recorders and digital radio, and from home laundry to American refrigerators, Euronics offers the latest product ranges.
The Marsa outlet employs 30 staff.
