The Union Ħaddiema Magħqudin and the authorities have agreed on a plan to implement a number of sectional agreements within the health sector, the union said yesterday.

During a meeting on Thursday the two parties discussed pending issues affecting paramedics, ambulance drivers, nursing aides, health assistants, carers and assistant carers.

The union was all set to issue directives affecting hundreds of health workers in hospitals, health centres and homes, but the action was averted after a late evening meeting last week.
