Right loan word

I refer to the letter by Alfio Micallef Grimaud titled Wrong Loan Word regarding the phrase mingħajr preservattivi in a local advertisement. The correspondent should know that the usage of the Maltese preservattiv is perfectly correct as this word derives from English, vide Ġużé Aquilina, English-Maltese Dictionary, Volume 3, p.2387 and Maltese-English Dictionary, Volume 2, p.1080. The word preservanti does not exist in Maltese.
